Of The Brave produced an impressive victory in debut in spring, and as a result has opened as and maintained status as clear favourite for success in the 2015 Blue Diamond Prelude C&G betting markets at a quotes of $3.50, ahead of Pride Of Dubai ($5.50) and Sampeah ($6) with leading online bookie Ladbrokes.com.au.

Will Of The Brave continue his perfect career start ahead of the 2015 Blue Diamond Stakes, or will one of his exciting rivals find the line in the clear?

1st

Of The Brave ($3.50)

Opening as outright favourite to win the 2015 Blue Diamond Prelude for colts and geldings, Of The Brave has continued to firm in markets, particularly following the scratching of leading contender Raggazo Del Corsa, and now registers as clear market mover at $3.50 odds. Jumping from the gates well in the Listed Debutant Stakes (1000m) on October 11th, the Starspangledbanner colt received an ideal run in transit before extending late to hit the line a comfortable two lengths in the clear of his closest rival. Allocated barrier ten, Of The Brave will be difficult to beat in the 2015 Blue Diamond Prelude.

2nd

Stylish Assassin ($13)

While unable to make much of an impact in his racing debut, also in the Debutant Stakes in October, Stylish Assassin has contested several impressive barrier trials in the lead-up to his racing return and as a result is more than worth consideration at generous $13 odds for success or $4 to finish in the places in the Blue Diamond Prelude C&G. Considered a great chance to progress to the Group 1 ATC Sires’ Produce Stakes (1400m) on Day 1 of The Championships, trainer Mick Price is confident of a successful return on Saturday.

3rd

Sampeah ($6)

Allocated the ideal barrier 4, Sampeah is one of three Godolphin-trained two-year-olds confirmed for the colts and geldings edition of the 2015 Blue Diamond Prelude and arguably offers punters the best value as a selection in a quinella or trifecta bet at current odds. Jumping from the gates well in a minor sprint over 1100m at Rosehill on debut in November, the Exceed And Excel colt charged clear late to hit the line a comfortable length in the clear of his closest rival.
