Fontiton has been rated one of the leading contenders for the Group 1 Blue Diamond Stakes (1200m) since she made her racing debut with a dominant six lengths win in Inglis Banner (1000m) at Moonee Valley on Cox Plate Day and she will defend her unbeaten record in the Group 2 event.

The Turffontein filly was hindered at the start of the Group 3 Blue Diamond Fillies Preview (1000m) at Sandown on Australia Day, but was still able to work home over the top of her rivals and record a strong win.

Fontiton’s position at the top of 2015 Blue Diamond Stakes betting markets has been taken by Mick Price-trained Secret Agenda in recent weeks and the pair will clash for the first time in the Blue Diamond Fillies Prelude this weekend.

Secret Agenda made her racing debut with a comfortable win over Haybah in the Whites Wires Plate (1000m) at Moonee Valley on December 12 and has impressed in two recent jump-outs at Caulfield.

You can find the best odds for the Blue Diamond Fillies Prelude or any other race this weekend with leading online bookmaker Ladbrokes.com.au.

Another filly that will be defending an unbeaten record in the 2015 Blue Diamond Fillies Prelude is Godolphin-owned Antelucan.

Antelucan made her racing debut with a narrow win over subsequent Chairman’s Stakes winner Thurlow in the Group 3 Emirates Airline Plate (1000m) at Flemington on Melbourne Cup Day and is considered one of the leading fillies from the Godolphin stable.

She will be joined in the 2015 Blue Diamond Fillies Prelude by stablemate Pursuits, who made her racing debut with a third place finish behind Fontiton in the Blue Diamond Fillies Preview.

Matthew Ellerton & Simon Zahra-trained Heatherly stormed into Blue Diamond Stakes contender when she took out the Fujitsu Plate (1000m) at Moonee Valley on February 6, but will face much stiffer competition in the Blue Diamond Fillies Prelude.

The other last start winner set to contest the Blue Diamond Fillies Prelude is Gai Waterhouse-trained Flamboyant Lass.

Flamboyant Lass made her racing debut with a third place finish behind stablemate Pierrette and Sebring Sun in the Betting Season Plate (1000m) at Royal Randwick on October 11 before she led from start to finish to record a most impressive win in the Hyland Race Colours Handicap (1000m) at Royal Randwick on January 10.
